Membership of the Schubert Society of Britain
The Schubert Society aims to promote the music of Franz Peter Schubert (31 January 1797 – 19 November 1828). Therefore it intends to be open to everyone who takes an interest.
is open to everyone free of charge. Just send your email address to the Secretary and you will be e-mailed with details of upcoming concerts. Occasionally we may send an email with concerts that are not organised by us, but which we think might interest you.
is open to everyone for a donation. The money is needed for printing and postage cost and any surplus will be used to support the work of the Schubert Society such as concerts and competitions. It is not a fixed sum so everyone can afford it according to their means. We are grateful for your generosity. Please print the application form, fill it in and send it with a donation in cash or cheque (made out to The German YMCA): The Secretary, Schubert Society of Britain, 35 Craven Terrace, London W2 3EL.
You will then be sent leaflets of our upcoming programmes. Both kinds of members are most welcome at our concerts and may bring guests.
